Why People Love Us

Here’s What They’re Saying

D Magazine

“..We give you Liberty because they give you more. Any of its burgers can be made with a chicken, beef, bison, turkey, lamb, or vegetable patty. And nobody in town makes a better caramel sea salt shake.”

The Quest for the Ultimate Burger

“Taking a bite of the burger, the flavor of the lightly seasoned patty was very evident. The meat was fresh and juicy and the texture of the beef worked well with the crispiness of the bacon and light flavor of the bun.”

DFW.COM

“Their turkey burger, dubbed the Libertine, is at the top of this year’s list because it gets everything right.”

Pancakes & Beet Juice

“This shake was incredible. There is a three-flavor rotation in each sip of creamy vanilla ice cream, salty goodness and pure, rich caramel. Markus caught me looking longingly into the distance a few times this weekend and when he asked me what was on my mind, my response each time was, ‘Oh, nothing. I just wish I had that caramel shake right now.’ House made veggie patties are a huge deal to me. Liberty Burger’s was definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. Lots of fresh veggies and chickpeas. I got it Chillerno style which means hickory barbeque sauce, a real deal slice of green chile and the thickest queso blanco I’ve ever had. It was oozing everywhere and I was pretty much the happiest person alive.”

Pegasus News

“The veggie burger was one of the best renditions I’ve had. It was described as ‘a grilled blend of select vegetables, grains, hummus, and four kinds of seeds,’ and was served on a cracked what bun with Swiss cheese, greens, avocado, and tomato.”

Star-Telegram

“The Woodstock forces those who think a veggie burger has to be the mocked and forgotten stepchild of the burger family to reconsider that notion. Liberty is definitely a welcome addition to the North Texas burger scene.”

CraveDFW

“All the burgers are hefty and idyllic in stature. Big and beefy is the order of the day and each burger is served with a large steak knife to remind you that it’s not just a burger. Emanating from the recesses of the bun you will spot the greens and pickles. But they are magically suspended by thick layers of cheese and sauces. The simple Liberty Burger can be built anyway you wish, but real cheddar cheese and thickly sliced smoked bacon should always be part of your mantra.”

Advocate Magazine

“The buns are nice and fluffy (even a bit flaky), and the patties aren’t too greasy. In a weird way, the Liberty Burger tastes pretty clean. But it is still a burger, and the sweet potato fries are like crack…great addition in our neighborhood.”

Here’s What You’re Saying:

“I think it’s great! Just when we thought burgers couldn’t get any better, along comes Liberty. Always fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. A favorite choice for lunch or dinner. For those who do not like red meat the chicken burgers, turkey burgers and salads stand on their own. We’re in love with our new neighbors!”

This is the type of restaurant you run into while traveling and lament ‘why doesn’t Dallas have one of these?’ Now, we do! They could stop where other burger joints do, without the creativity and unique ingredients, and they’d still have a home run product. Especially the bun. Find a better bun, I dare you.
